Les Mize, 77, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Monday, January 23, 2017 at his residence.
Born in Anderson County, SC, he was the son of Lee and Nettie Bridges Mize and the husband to Pat Hanks Mize. Les retired from Owens Corning Fiberglass and was a life-long resident of Anderson.
In addition to his parents and wife; he is also survived by his children: Donna Jones (Jeff) and Shaun Mize (Cascee); brother Bud Mize; grandchildren: Kaleb, Emily, Rockston, and Jovie; as well as his ‘adopted’ son, Jerry Payton and a special nephew, Ray Hanks.
He is predeceased by a son Little Leslie Mize, Jr., and a sister.
Services will be held at 7pm on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at Sosebee Mortuary, South Chapel, officiated by Pastor Phil Sears.
The family will receive friends prior to the services from 6pm – 7pm on Thursday at the Mortuary.
The family will be at the residence.
