Lloyd O’Dennis Clay, 63, of Hartwell, Ga, passed away on Tuesday March 14, 2023 in Spartanburg, SC.
Born on July 28, 1959, in Hapeville, Ga, he was the son of the late Leonard Milton Clay and Myrtie Elizabeth Martin Clay, as well as the husband of Kimberly Cooke Clay. Lloyd was a truck driver and served as the Director for the Kenworth Drivers Board for four years. He spent 40 years on the road with 6.2 million safe driving miles with multiple driving awards.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his Children: Michael Scott Clay, Richard Justin Clay, Tiffany Leigh Sanders (Jason), Emily Nicole Clay, and Audrey Elizabeth Payne Clay; Brother: Terrance Dewayne Clay; Sister: Linda Gayle Taylor; as well as ten grandchildren.
The family will hold private services at a later date but plans to hold a memorial on his birthday for family and friends.
