Lorean Henderson Burriss Fendley, 90, of Anderson, SC, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at NHC-Anderson where she was known as a Social Butterfly.
Born on January 25, 1924 to the late J.J. and Stella Parson Henderson; she was a member of St. John’s United Methodist Church. She, along with her late husband, were the founders of Dan Burriss Auto Upholstery in 1944, from which she later retired.
She was the last remaining member of her immediate family. In addition to her parents; and first husband Dan H. Burriss; she was also predeceased by second husband Harold Fendley.
She is survived by a sister-in-law Mrs. Aldene Martin; her children: Dan K. Burriss and wife Cindy, Ann Hughes and husband Ronnie, and Nan Kaye Burriss and friend Kristina Mathis; grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Amanda Hughes, Blake Hughes, Jonathan and Alyson Burriss (Bradlee), Damon and Tonya Burriss (Talon and Drake), Travis and Meagan Burriss (Lexi and Lillie), and Donnie ‘Goose’ Mathis, all of Anderson, SC.
Graveside services will be held at 10:30am on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park officiated by Rev. Dan Batson. The family will receive friends following the service.

The family would like to express a special thanks to the staff of NHC-Anderson, Section 3 for the love and care given to their MeMa the last six years of her life.
