Martha Eleanor Norris, 85, of Anderson, SC, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday June 15, 2014.
She is survived by her sons; Wayne Powell and Thadius Norris, Daughters; Faye Culbertson and Diane Still, Brother; Billy Ray Freeman, Grandchildren; Tammy Blackwell and Angela Medlin of the home as well as 18 other grandchildren, and 37 great-grandchildren.
Martha is preceded in death by her parents; Lawrence and Minnie Freeman, her first husband; Olin Powell and her second husband; Roy Norris, as well as her son; Daniel “Dinky” Norris and sister; Bettyjo Hooper.
Funeral services will be held at 2p.m. on Wednesday June 18, 2014 at the Sosebee Mortuary South Chapel and will be officiated by Rev. Wayne Powell and Rev. James Hester. Burial will follow at the Roberts Presbyterian Church.
The family will receive friends from 6p.m. to 8p.m. on Tuesday June 17, 2014 at the funeral home.
The family will be at the home of her son, Wayne Powell.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel will be assisting the family with the arrangements.
