Madge Wood Walters Dutton, 88, of Starr, SC passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at her home.
Born on September 20, 1930 she was the daughter of the late Albert and Cordie Wood and the wife to the late Clyde Edward Walters. Madge was retired from Bilo and was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her children: Geraldine Walters, Alex Walters, Wayne Walters, Gene Walters, Buddy Walters, Jimmy Walters, Rebecca McCurry, and Hoss Dutton; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and spouse, she was predeceased by her children: Donnie Walters, Bobby Walters, and Billy Joe Walters.
Funeral services will be held at 11am on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at Sosebee Mortuary, South Chapel. Private burial will follow at Shoal Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Lavonia, Ga.
Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10am – 11am at the South Chapel.
The family will be at the home, 301 Stevenson Rd Starr, SC 29684.
Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory, South Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
