Major D. Easthagen II, 73, of Piedmont, SC, passed away on Thursday, September 5, 2019.
Born in Weatherford, Texas on November 10, 1945, he was the son of the late Major D. Easthagen I and Dolly Elizabeth Easthagen. He was a Veteran of the US Army and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
He is survived by his daughter: Pamela Lynn Hood (Donald); brothers: Roy Khaler, Michael Easthagen and Jeffrey Easthagen; sisters: Peggy Shepherd, Patty McGrath and Heidi Dolan; grandchildren: Ryan J. Gerrie, Justin K. Manuel (Angie), Ashleigh Manuel and Christopher Hood; great-grandchildren: Dylan, Chloe, Elizabeth and Braeden Manuel.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by a sister: Rose Marie O’Lague.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 12, 2019 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 400 Farris Bridge Rd, Greenville, SC 29617 at 7pm officiated by Bishop Grant Cluxton.
The family will be at their respective homes.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
