Marvin Eugene Henley, 91, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Monday December 26, 2022.
Marvin Henley was a loving father and a devoted friend to many, as he touched the lives of those around him.
He dedicated his life to always helping others in need, was a long time member of Saints Cyril and Methodius Roman Catholic Church in New York, as well as the Lyons Club and was heavily involved with the Boy Scout mentoring programs.
He studied 2 yrs. of aero engineering at Auburn University, was an ET First Class in the Navy, an Electronic tech 1st class and instructed Army personnel on tech procedures.
He is survived by his children, Virginia Ellison (husband, Anthony); John Henley (wife, Robbin); Cathy Schloss (husband, Jeff); Anita Valles (husband, Peter); his numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Marvin was laid to rest, with Military Honors, on Thursday, March 9, 2023, at the MJ Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery.
