Mary Coe Brown January 7, 1924 - January 9, 2023

Mary Coe Brown, 99, of Pendleton SC, passed away on Monday, January 9, 2023, at Prisma Health Medical Center.

Born in Abbeville SC, on January 7, 1924, she was the daughter of the late William Obadiah and Leslie Hayes Coe. Mary was the wife of 41 years to the late William Lewis Brown and was a member of Lebanon Baptist Church.

She is survived by her children: Dianne Jackson (Billy) and Susan Herndon (Jackie); 6 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Mary was the last surviving member of her immediate family, in addition to her parents and husband, she is predeceased by 4 brothers and 4 sisters.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at 3pm at Sosebee Mortuary South Chapel with Rev Barry Robinson officiating.

The family will receive friends from 2pm to 3pm at the Mortuary, prior to the service Wednesday.

The family will be at their respective homes.

The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
