Mary Jean Farrow Hayes, 70, of Anderson SC, passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at AnMed Health Medical Center.
Born in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of the late Ira and Edna Harris Farrow, and step-daughter of the late Jessie Farrow. She was the spouse to Ronnie James Hayes. Mary Jean loved, was loved and had a heart of gold.
In addition to her spouse, she is survived by her daughters: Lisa Gentry (Bobby), Laurie McKee (Mike), Amber Hayes; nieces: Cindy Watkins (Ronald), and Debbie Lecroy (Gary) whom she loved like daughters. Grandchildren: Mandy, Shelby, Aaron, and Ambrosia; great-grandchild: Creighton and sister: Juanita Trotter.
In addition to her parents and step-mother, she is predeceased by her brothers: Tip, Charles, and Drew Farrow.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at Truth Tabernacle Baptist Church with Rev. Hudson White, and Rev. Sam Duncan officiating. Burial will follow at New Silverbrook Cemetery.
Visitation will be held prior to the service at the church from 1pm to 2pm.
Mary Jean will be placed in the church at 12pm.
The family will be at the home of daughter: Laurie McKee.
