Mary McAdams Vaughn February 8, 1939 - July 15, 2023

Mary McAdams Vaughn, 84, of Belton, SC, passed away on Saturday July 15, 2023.

Born on February 8, 1939, in Oconee, SC, she was the daughter of the late Samual Boyce McAdams Sr and Elsie Martin McAdams.

Mary is survived by her Husband: Clarence Henry Vaughn; Son: James Neal Crawford; Daughter-in-Law: Nancy Crawford; Stepdaughter: Pam Vaughn; as well as seven grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her late Husband: James Harold Crawford; Sisters: Peg Williams, Hazel Ramage, Margaret Burdette, and Linda Wright; and Brothers: Ray McAdams, Boyce McAdams Jr, Jim McAdams, Gary McAdams, and Larry McAdams.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Thursday July 20, 2023, at the Sosebee Mortuary South Chapel and will be officiated by Rev. Eddie Burdette. Interment will follow at the Garden of Memories.

Receiving friends will take place prior to the service, from 1pm to 2pm, Thursday at the Mortuary.

The family would like to extend a special Thank You to the entire staff of Iva Post-Acute and Hospice of the Upstate for their special care and concern for Mrs. Vaughn.
