Michael Bryan Hayes November 15, 1970 - May 17, 2024

Michael Bryan Hayes “Swazey Train”, 53, of Abbeville County SC, passed away on Friday, May 17, 2024, in Greenwood County SC.

Born on November 15, 1970, in Ft Bragg, NC; he was the son of the late Larry Michael Hayes and Letha Diane Irwin Hayes. Swazey Train had a love of motorcycles and was a free spirit. He had all the love and affection a father could have for his daughters.

He is survived by his daughters: Jaden Hayes (Tristen) and Jessica Hayes (Carson); mother of his children: Jill Marie Cromer Hayes; niece: Kara Hayes Donald (Brandon) and cousin: Samantha Alewine (Lee).

In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by a brother: Jonathan “Jonboy” Hayes, as well as his maternal and paternal grandparents.

A funeral service will be held at 3pm on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel officiated by Chaplain Kevin Simpson.

Visitation will be held prior to the service on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, from 2pm to 3pm at the South Chapel.

The family will be at their respective homes.

The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
