Michael Christian Bennett, 57, of Hartwell Georgia passed away on Saturday, January 10th, 2026. He was born on August 23, 1968 in Cincinnati, OH to Elizabeth Weber.
Michael was preceded in death by his loving mother, Elizabeth Weber, his dear nephew, Joseph McCauley, and grandparents, Henry and Cora Bennett.
Survived by the mother of his children, Tammy Bennett (nee Geiger), his children Joshua Bennett, Jacob Bennett, Johnathon Bennett, Sarah Hill (nee Bennett), his sister Angela Albrinck (nee Bennett), stepfather, Donald Weber, 10 beautiful grandchildren, as well as nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.
Michael proudly served in the U.S. Army. He worked for the State of Ohio as a corrections officer. He moved to Georgia to follow his dreams of living on the lake. There he found peace and happiness.
Michael was a simple man who loved God, his family, and America. He found joy in helping others. He had an enormous heart, a call to serve others, and an infectious laugh. He was so proud of his four children, his ten grand children, and his favorite role was most definitely being a PawPaw. He will be missed by many. He would like to be remembered for his strength, his laughter, his listening ear, and the way he made people feel genuinely cared for.
Michael will be buried at a private ceremony for his burial at the Georgia National Veterans Cemetery in Canton, GA.
