Mildred Elee Murphy, 74, of Anderson, SC passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at her residence.
Born on December 28, 1944 in Anderson, SC she was the daughter of the late Golden Timothy and Ethel Clemmons Queen and was the loving companion to Grady Keith Murphy. Mildred was also a lifetime member of the VFW Post 5996.
She is survived by her daughters at heart: Karry L Glenn (Ricky) and Tammie Simpson; sister: Kate Chapman; grandchildren at heart: Tyler Hogan, Tiffany Reese, David Glenn, and Connie Chapman (David); and great-grandchildren at heart: Angel Chapman, Miranda Chapman, Zoey Chapman, and Jayden.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at Sosebee Mortuary, South Chapel and will be officiated by Reverend Mike Harrell. Burial will follow at MJ Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery.
Visitation will be held prior to the service from 12pm – 2pm, at the South Chapel.
Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory, South Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
