Nancy Miriam Lyons, 71, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Thursday December 26, 2024, at the Rainey Hospice House.
Born on February 22, 1953, in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of the late Marvin and Nancy Tollison. She was also a member of NewSpring Church of Anderson.
She is survived by her Children: April Mason (Worth), Joseph Whitten (Dana), Mary Anna Cater (Brett), and Jaime Wilson (Nick): Siblings: Andrew Tollison, Annette Tollison, and Mark Tollison; Grandchildren: Lauren Betancur (Andres), Jacob Whitten, Drew Whitten, Avery Wilson, and Tucker Wilson; as well as Great-Grandchild: Camila Betancur.
In addition to her parents, Miriam is preceded in death by her Husband: James Lyons; and Siblings: Marvin Lee Tollison, Alethea Williams, and Danny Tollison.
A memorial service will be held at 2pm on Monday December 30, 2024, at the Sosebee Mortuary Chapel and will be officiated by her nephew, Andrew Cannell.
The family will be at Miriam’s home.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Miriam’s name to the Calvary Home for Children or the Rainey Hospice House.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel is assisting the family with the arrangements.
