In Loving Memory of Mrs. Patricia “Pat” Jeffcoat.
Mrs. Patricia “Pat” Jeffcoat, of Iva, passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2026 at her
home. She was born on September 26, 1949 in Lexington, South Carolina, to the late
Herman and Edith “Pete” Corley. She is also preceded in death by her beloved
daughter Casandra Spry.
Patricia devoted her life to caring for others, both professionally and personally.
After a long and compassionate career in nursing, she continued serving those in
need as a home health caregiver, offering comfort, kindness, and unwavering
support to countless individuals during some of life’s most difficult moments.
Pat found her greatest joy in the simple blessings of life. She spent much of her time
preparing meals for those she loved, gathering around the table with family, and
creating a home where truly everyone felt welcome. She was a faithful and beloved
member of Star Church of God of Prophecy and Iva Church of God of Prophecy,
where she was actively involved. Her steadfast faith and willingness to serve made a
lasting impact on all who had the great privilege of knowing her.
Above all else, Pat was immensely proud of her family. She treasured every moment
spent with her husband, children, and grandchildren, never missing an opportunity
to celebrate them, their accomplishments, or share stories about each of them. Her
love for her family was evident, and they remained the center of her world until the
very end.
Known for her gentle spirit, compassionate heart, and quiet strength, Pat had a way
of making others feel cared for and seen. Whether through a warm meal, a listening
ear, a comforting prayer, or a helping hand, she touched countless lives with her
generosity and grace. Her legacy of faith, love, and selfless service will continue to
live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her loving husband, Vernon Leroy Jeffcoat; daughters, Marilyn
Boyd (Keith Boyd), Cheryl Amerson (Robb Hamm), and Marlana Jeffcoat;
grandchildren, Haley Anderson (Daniel Dantzler), Conner Beard (Pennie Smith),
and Cody Quednau.
May Patricia rest in peace knowing how dearly loved and cherished she was to all
who knew her. She will be missed and remembered fondly.
