Paul Waymon Duffell, 90, of Anderson SC, passed away on Friday, October 13, 2023, at Callie and John Rainey Hospice House.
Born on May 10, 1933, he was the husband to the late Willie Mae Hart Duffell, and was a Veteran of the US Army where he was a Paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne during the Korean Conflict. He was a retired loom fixer from Clark Schwebel and a Master Mason and Life member at Ruff Lodge.
He is survived by his daughters: Janice Marie Teasley (Jimmy) and Paula Simmons; grandchildren: Jeremy N. Powell (Brooke) and Matthew Powell (Keri); great grandchildren: Carson L., Colton J. and Mikella Mae Powell; siblings: Dott Ginn, Carl Duffell, Linda Johnson, Grace Nixon, Mary Jo Young, Becky Barber and Deborah Bruce.
In addition to his wife, he is predeceased by his sister: Mildred Flemming.
A graveside service will be held at MJ Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery on Thursday, October 19, 2023, at 10am with Military Honors by the Campbell Patriots.
The family will be at the home.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
