Paula “PauPau” Ann Sanders, 65, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2022.

Born in Anderson SC, on March 2, 1957, she was the daughter of the late James and Bobbie Skelton Sanders.

PauPau was a very giving person with a sense of humor that could keep you laughing even in bad times. She was a member of Homeland Park Church of God.

She is survived by a great-niece raised in the home: Arabella Rogers and her daughter at heart: Ashley Nicole Sanders; nieces: Leanne and Bree Anna Sanders; nephews: Gregory and Richard Sanders; Aunts: Gayle Sanders, Brenda Jones and Norma Hale; uncles: Larry Owens and Jason Dunn; as well as numerous cousins and dear and faithful friends.

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her brother: James Lamar Sanders; uncles: Melvin, Edward and Leonard Sanders and William Singleton; aunts: Georgia Bell Dunn, Mary King, Euince Batson, Ruby Owens and Barbara Jean Dyar.

A funeral service will be held at 2pm on Friday, December 30, 2022, at Sosebee Mortuary South Chapel with Pastor Vernon Soles officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

Visitation will take place prior to the service at the South Chapel on Friday, December 30, 2022, from 1pm to 2pm.

The family will be at the home.

The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.

    So sorry to hear of Paula’s passing. She was such a hoot to be around and kept you laughing. I use to as a child spend 2 weeks in the summer with her and my aunt and uncle Bobbi Ann and Leroy, and it would always be so much fun. Enjoyed alot of trips to the mountains together later in life. I will take another trip to the mountains and think of you . Rest in peace Paula.
