Preston H Gambrell, 76, of Anderson, SC passed away on Monday, August 8, 2016 at his residence.
Born in Athens, GA, on September 14, 1939, he was the son to the late Clyde B and Daisy Lee Gambrell, and the husband to Sandra Childress Gambrell. Preston was retired and was a member of High Praises Church of God. He was a loving husband and adored his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons: Greg Gambrell, Reggy Gambrell, and Rob Gambrell; stepson: Scott Busha; brothers: Dale Gambrell and Chevis Gambrell; grandchildren: Alex, Daisy, Nick and Emily; and his two beloved fur babies: Molly and Scooter.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son: Michael Gambrell; stepdaughter: Ansley Busha; and brother: Fred Gambrell.
A memorial service will take place on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at 6pm at McFalls Landing and will be officiated by Reverend Kay Landreth.
The family will be at the home.
