Robert Chambers, age 83, of Anderson SC, passed away on Saturday July 8, 2023 at Hospice of the Upstate.
Born March 22, 1940, in York VA, he was the son of Leola Ruth Chambers. Robert was retired from Chambers Trucking and was a member of Cannon Baptist Church.
He is survived by his children James Chambers of Anderson, Brian Chambers (Shelley) of Iva, Andrew Chambers (Kristen) of Pendleton, David Chambers (Nicole) of Williamston, Teresa McGuffin of Anderson and Monica McAdams of Oregon; 14 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 3pm to 5pm Saturday July 15, 2023 at Sosebee Mortuary South Chapel with a memorial service immediately following the visitation at 5pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Upstate / Rainey Hospice House, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.

July 14, 2023 at 6:30 pmI met Bob and David when I was hauling for Fafard in Anderson sc. As I said before, Bob , a Great man indeed! Always nice to me offering if I needed anything; give them a call. I remember that green cabover he had. Rest easy Mr. Chambers.
