Robert M Honicutt Jr, aka “Bobby,” 61 of Honea Path, SC, passed away on Friday January 3, 2020 at his home.
Born in Anderson County, he was the son of the late Robert M. Honicutt Sr and Louise Young Honicutt Haynes.
Surviving are his two brothers: Preston (Janna) Honicutt and Larry (Kim) Honicutt; four nephews: Robert, Dennis, Danton and Trevor Honicutt; one niece: Trinity Honicutt; one great-nephew: Wyatt Thomas Honicutt and one great-niece Lorie Nikkiann Honicutt.
He served three years in the US Army, worked in textiles and maintenance at Erskine College. He was also a member of Keowee Baptist Church and loved to fish.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a niece Trisha Louise Honicutt.
The family will receive friends from 1pm to 3pm at the Keowee Baptist Church Social Hall on Saturday January 11, 2020. Burial will follow at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Keowee Baptist Church building fund, 4640 Keowee Rd, Honea Path, SC 29654.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel will be assisting the family with the arrangements.
