Robert “JR” Hanks Jr, 74, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Monday, January 24, 2022.

Born on January 8, 1948, he was the son of the late Robert L. Hanks Sr and Minnie P. Hanks. JR was the husband of Cindy Hanks and a Veteran of the US Army.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his Sons: Bob Hanks (Kristen) and Matt Hanks; and Brothers: Bill and Calmer Shaw.

A memorial service will be held at 3pm on Sunday February 6, 2022, at the Homeland Park Baptist Church. A Celebration of Life will be held following the memorial service at the family life center.

The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel is assisting the family with the arrangements.
