Roger Dale Roper, 54, of Anderson, SC passed away on Sunday, November 9, 2014 at his residence.
Born in Easley, SC; he was a member of Mt. Bethel Baptist Church and an avid hunter and fisherman.
He is survived by his children: Jonathan, Randall, and Dana Moore; brothers: Ronnie (Lynn), Terry, and Perry (Ronda) Roper; sister Shirley (Tommy) McLees; grandchildren: Jacob Moore, Jared Gentry, Joshua Oakley, and Carlee Moore; and special friends and caretakers: Lamar and Lisa Bryant.
He is predeceased by his parents: Homer and Lessie Mae Queen Roper; and sisters: Mary Ann Roper and Cindy Brock.
Services will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2014 at 2pm officiated by Rev. Jeremy Collums at Sosebee Mortuary, South Chapel.
The family will be at the home of his brother Perry Roper and they will receive friends prior to the service on Thursday at the Mortuary.
