Samuel Earl Pearson, 73, of Anderson SC, passed away on Monday, November 16, 2015 at his residence.
Born in Miami County, Ohio, on April 2, 1942, he was the son of the late Ezra Samuel and Alberta Lorene Puterbaugh Pearson and was the spouse to Linda Joyce Murray Pearson. He was retired from NCR Corporation after 40yrs and was a member of Temple Baptist Church. He served in the US Navy, where he was an ETN 2 E-5 with an honorable discharge from the US Naval School, Services School Command and was a Class A Electronic Technician.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son: Todd Alan Pearson Sr, daughter: Dawn Michelle Pearson Bush Schwartz, brothers: William Lee, Gene D. And David H. Pearson, sisters: Judith L. Pearson Russell Haddox, and Kimberly L. Cardinal, grandchildren: Brittany A. Bush, Jennifer L. Bush Crawford, Krystal D. Plemmons Pearson Buening, Samantha Pearson Grisez, Todd Alan Pearson Jr, and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at Temple Baptist Church on Friday, November 20, 2015 at 1:30pm with Rev. Steve Hurte officiating. Burial will follow at MJ Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery.
Visitation will take place at the church, prior to the service from 12pm to 1:30pm.
