Shelby A. Kemp January 4, 1968 - March 5, 2025

Shelby A. Kemp, 57, of Anderson, SC, passed away March 5, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born on January 4, 1968, and was the daughter of the late Alice and James Higginbotham. On June 12, 2010, she married Patrick G. Kemp.

Shelby worked at NHC, where she loved to help others. She enjoyed going fishing and making arts and crafts. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed her dogs, Coco and Karley.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters, Cassie Higginbotham and Halie Kemp; her son, Kendrick Kemp; her grandsons, Antonio and Xavier; her sisters: Paula Higginbotham, Michelle Higginbotham, Tammy Argo (Andrew), and Connie Manley; and brother, Greg Harrell. She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Linda F. Osbey; sisters-in-law, Chenice Scott (Roy), Ulrica Kemp, Tara Kemp, Charla Osbey, and Carmen Isom (Jerry); brother-in-law, Charlie Jr. Osbey, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Tiffany Walton and nephew, Nathaniel Higginbotham.

The family is at her home, and they will hold a memorial service Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at 12 o’clock at the House of Prayer, 1221 Good Hope Church Road in Starr.
