James Howard Brucke Sr, 76, of Anderson, SC; formally of Maple Hill, NC, passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2025.
Born on December 12, 1948, in Walhalla SC, he was the son of the late Joe and Mildred Brucke and a Veteran of the US Army.
He is survived by his children: Shawnika Hickey (Phillip), Megan Brucke (Chris), James Brucke Jr “Bo”, Greg Brucke, Tina Hughes, Melissa Carver (Chris), Matthew Bowen, Mark Winton (Leah) and Sarah Fronstin (Paul); sister: Avis Stovall; 28 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by a brother: Marice Brucke and a grandson: Daniel Holmes.
Funeral services will be held at Sosebee Mortuary South Chapel on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at 2pm.Visitation will be held prior to the service at the Mortuary from 1pm to 2pm.
Burial at MJ Dolly Cooper Veteran’s Cemetery will take place at a later date.
Flowers are accepted and can be sent to the mortuary at 3219 South Main St, Anderson, SC, 29624.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
