Shelia Ray McKee, 51, of Anderson, SC, won her battle with cancer on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at the Rainey Hospice House.
Born on May 28, 1962 in Jacksonville, Fl, she was the daughter of the late William Carl Ray and Edith Ann Rogers.
She is survived by her Step-father; Grady Rogers, Step-mother; Martha Ray, Daughters; Sara Wells and Marie Horne, Brother; Sammy Ray, Sister; Cindy Cooke and three grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 2p.m. on Friday May 2, 2014 at the Gethsemane Baptist Temple officiated by Rev. Sam Duncan with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6p.m. to 8p.m. on Thursday May 1, 2014 at the Sosebee Mortuary South Chapel.
The family will be gathered at the home of her sister, Cindy Cooke.
The family would like to thank all friends and family that supported Shelia during her battle with cancer. Special thanks to Carmen Smith, Polly Lyles and the Rainey Hospice House.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel will be assisting the family with the arrangements.
