William Earl Wooten, 67, of 101 Jones Cir, Iva, SC 29655, passed away on Saturday May 3, 2014 at his home.
Born in Anderson on November 15, 1946, he was the son of the late Sam and Clattie Wooten, a US Army Veteran and a dedicated and loving father and grandfather.
He is survived by his son: Hunter R. Broome and wife Jami; Hunter’s Mother: Patti Dove; Brothers: Charles E. Wooten and wife Willie, and Danny R. Wooten; Sister: Annie Sue Cox, and grandchildren: Shelton Broome and Drake Thompson, as well as many special friends.
In addition to his parents, he preceded in death by his brothers: Jack T, James E., Sam T. Jr, Herman N., Franklin D., and Bobby L. Wooten and his sister Betty Joe Novak.
Graveside services will be held at 11:30a.m. on Tuesday May 6, 2014 at the Iva City Cemetery officiated by Rev. Tommy Wooten and Rev. Ed Hunsinger.
The family will receive friends from 10a.m. to 11a.m. at Sosebee Mortuary South Chapel Tuesday prior to the service.
The family will be at the home.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel will be assisting the family with the arrangements.
