Sonja Riddle, 79, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Friday, October 17, 2025, at Terra Bella Assisted Living.
Born on December 26, 1945, in South Carolina; she was the daughter of the late Hack and Mary Harrison Riddle. She retired after 30 years from National Health Care. Sonja loved her time at Terra Bella playing bingo with her friends. She enjoyed going to church and Bible study. She loved her family and friends as well as her pets. She could often be seen caring for stray cats, over 30 of them.
She is survived by her cousin, Bobby and Deborah Berg; nephew, Stephen Riddle; as well as numerous other cousins.
In addition to her parents, she is also predeceased by a brother, Rudy Riddle.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at New Silverbrook Cemetery at 11:30am. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Tuesday at the Mortuary from 10am – 11am.
The family will be at their respective homes.
