Steve Maddox, 63, of Anderson, SC passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at his residence.
Born in Anderson, SC he was the son of the late John Maddox and Sarah Brown and the wife to Wanda Grogan Maddox. Steve fought the fight and kept the faith.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons: Shawn Grogan (Amy Jenkins) and Steven Justin Maddox; sister: Phyllis Harris; grandchildren: Kaitlyn Grogan, Anthony Grogan, Kyle Lowe, Aidan Jenkins, Noah Jenkins, and Bella Jenkins; nephews: Tim Sanders and Robbie Koon and his caring extended family Joann and April Adams.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at 4pm at Gethsemane Baptist Temple and will be officiated by Reverend Sam Duncan. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 3pm – 4pm at the church.
The family will be at the home.
