Thomas “Baxter” Rumsey, 78, of Belton SC, passed away on Friday, January 17, 2020 at his residence.
Born on February 12, 1941, in Anderson SC, he was the son of the late William Hailey and Mary Leolis Long Rumsey and the husband to Mary Ann Rumsey. He was retired from Harper Corporation, an avid fisherman, loved softball and baseball.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter: Meka Pollard (Jimmy); brother: Charles Rumsey and grandchildren: Chance, Charlee and Chiah Pollard.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his brothers: Claude “Red” Rumsey and Larry Rumsey and his sister: Brenda Rumsey.
A memorial service will take place at the Sosebee Mortuary South Chapel on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 11:30am.
Visitation will be held prior to the service at the Mortuary from 10:30am to 11:30am.

The family will be at the residence.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
