Tanica A. Bowman Smith, 47, of Anderson SC, passed away on Sunday, June 1, 2025.
Born in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of late Johnny Bowman Jr and Betty Adell Jones Bowman. Tanica’s smile would light up any room she entered. She was kind, compassionate, always helped others and loved her family with all her heart. She will be missed and always loved.
She is survived by her son: Quendricus Lee Bowman; daughter: Tynetka Lashay (Scott) Bowman; brother: Demone (Darlene) Bowman; grandchild: Abel Rashod Samson; boyfriend, Dallas Pruitt; as well as many aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents; she is predeceased by a son: Quaheim Rashod Banks and her grandparents: Willie and Adell Jones, Elmer and Hattie Bowman.
The family will be at their respective homes.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
