Tempie Dunn Moore, 91, of Anderson, SC, wife to the late David Moore Sr, passed away on Friday January 9, 2015 at the Rainey Hospice House.
Born in Wayne County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Lillie Ezzell Dunn and was the last living member of her immediate family. She was also a faithful member of Middleton Road Baptist Church.
She is survived by her sons; David Jr. (Gale) and Perry (Connie), eight grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren and a niece: Marie.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by a son; Jackie, daughters; Mary Ann Moore and Jeannette Scott, one brother, two sisters and two grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 2pm Monday January 12, 2015 at the Sosebee Mortuary South Chapel and will be officiated by Rev. Archie Sharpe and Rev. Butch Moore. Burial will follow at the New Silverbrook Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30pm to 2pm prior to the service at the mortuary.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mrs. Moore’s name to the Rainey Hospice House, 1835 Rogers Rd, Anderson, SC 29621.
