Thomas “Lamar” Smith, 51, of 405 Williford Rd Starr, passed away at his home on Saturday, August 29, 2015.
Born in Anderson, SC on November 28, 1963, he was the son of Lonnie Thomas and Shelba Jean Smith, he was also the spouse of Toni Annette Smith.
He is survived by daughter, Jessica Lynn Smith Turnage; step daughter, Kelli DeGrave; step son, M.J. DeGrave; brother, Lonnie Dean Smith; sister, Sheila Burleson (Kevin); grandchildren, Nadia Smith, Alayna, Morayah; step grandchildren, Morgan, Kaiden, Aleaha, and Isabella; and grandmother, Ioma Burgess.
He is predeceased by his grandmother the Reverend Eunice Smith.
Services will be held Thursday, September 3, 2015 at 3pm at the Sosebee Mortuary, South Chapel, and will be officiated by the Rev. Randall Atkins. Visitation will be held prior to the service on September 3, 2015 from 2pm-3pm.
The family will be at the home.
