Timothy Ray Thrasher, 68, of Iva SC, passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2026.
Born in Greenville, SC on April 27, 1958, he was the son of the late Heyward and Bobbie Thrasher. He was a devoted husband to his wife, Michelle Thrasher; loved the Braves, music and his family.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters: Brandy Hardy (Jonathan), Stephanie Footman (Dre) and Shannon Thrasher (Donte’); stepchildren: Caleb Dunlap and Brittany Peterson; brothers: Lewis Thrasher, and Ronnie Thrasher; sister: Faye McCoy; grandchildren: Kinslee Stephens, Lane Hardy, Jayden Bryant, Jaren Bryant, Logan Hardy, Justice Bryant and Breasia Footman; as well as a great-granddaughter: Kamyah Greenlee.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his beloved K9, Skynyrd, named after his favorite band Lynyrd Skynyrd.
A memorial service will take place at Sosebee Mortuary on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at 3pm.
The family will be at their respective homes.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
