Wade Samuel Blume, 93, of Starr, SC, passed away on Tuesday February 8, 2022, at his home.
Born on November 7, 1928, in Anderson, SC, he was the son of the late George Blume and Gertrude Blume Fisher.
Wade was retired from Owens Corning, where he worked for over 30 years. He attended Gethsemane Baptist Temple and was a charter member of the church. Also, he was a Korean War Veteran, having served in the US Army.
He is survived by his Wife: Opal Ann Blume; Children: Shirley Nilsen (Stewart), Marilyn Bull (Jim), Gary Blume (Morgan), and Roger Blume (Stacy); Adopted Son: Niki Parks (Cynthia); Stepsons: Larry (Shirley), Wayne, and Ronald Allen; half Sister: Patsy Heaton; as well as eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his first Wife: Elsie Miller Blume; Children: Rebecca, Wade Steven, Dale, and Gale; and his siblings: Roy Blume, Harold Blume, Lucille Scott, and Emma Daniel.
