William “Bill” Wall Brown, 65 of Anderson, SC succumbed to a long battle with cancer at his home Monday, March 21, 2016.
Bill was a loving husband, father, grandfather and was known to most as Papa Brown. He was a selfless, giving, God-fearing business man who had a passion for entrepreneurship, working alongside his partner and friend of 38 years, Dan Booker. He was always up for a challenge and found success in all of his endeavors. Bill loved fast cars, fishing, and spending time on Lake Hartwell with his family. Bill was a long-time member of New Life Christian Center who loved the Lord and never passed an opportunity to bear witness.
Bill is survived by his wife of 50 years, Kathy; daughter: Laura Brown; son: William “Bill” Brown, Jr.; brother: Robert Brown; six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. A special thank you to Caris healthcare and hospice nurse Joielynn Baldwin for all their loving care.
His services will be held at New Life Christian Center, 603 Pearman Dairy Road, on Thursday, March 24 at 6 p.m.
