William David Merck, 69, of Williamston, SC, passed away on Tuesday, February 1, 2022.

Born on June 8, 1952, in Pickens, SC, he was the son of the late Floyd Junior Merck and Essie Devolia Riddle.

David is survived by his Fiancé: Teresa Mills; his Daughter at heart: Kim Crowley (Brad); Brothers: Rick Merck and Randy Merck (Linda); Sisters: Judy Myers (Tommy), Shelia Mathis, Mary Ramey (Jimmy) and Jan Sutherland (Billy); five grandchildren; and Stepdaughter: Crystal Plumley.

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his Brothers: Roy E. Merck and Johnny Lee Merck.

A memorial service will be held at 11am on Saturday February 5, 2022, at the Sosebee Mortuary South Chapel and will be officiated by Rev. Charlie Howell.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society or the charity of your choosing, in David’s name.

The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel is assisting the family with the arrangements.
