William Sam McAbee, 87, of Starr, SC passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at his home.
Born on June 5, 1929, in Anderson, SC he was the husband to the late Geneva McAbee.
He is survived by his children: William Lloyd McAbee (Ida), Brenda Jean Taylor, Wanda Loftis (Gary), Larry McAbee, and Debra McAbee; sister: Mary Jane Powers; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 1 great great-grandchild on the way.
In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by his sister: Robbie Epps and brother: Andrew McAbee.
Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at 2pm at Sosebee Mortuary, South Chapel and will be officiated by Pastor Rosie Black and Pastor Samantha Vaughn. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1pm – 2pm. Burial will follow the service at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
The family will be at the home.
