Kassie Maranda Heller born February 9, 1989, passed away after a brave and painful fight with pancreatic cancer on January 22, 2026, in Hospice and Palliative Care of the Piedmont, Greenwood, SC.
She was the daughter of Debbie McShane Heller, and Gregory Lloyd Heller of Anderson. Kassie attended Westside High School in Anderson and received a veterinary assistant certification from Greenville Technical College. Welding, Quality Control, and Inspection were her strong suits. She assumed various team leadership roles and excelled in assuring perfection of finished products. Kassie committed herself completely to every job she ever had, with pride, and accountability for her performance. She was selfless and caring, often sassy as a means of survival in a world of hard knocks. Kassie was fiercely loyal and loving to her steadfast friends and family.
Her heart loved her nephews, Trent and Drake Heller, with her whole being as if they were her own children. No one could Love them more. She loved the Lord and was ready to see Jesus when she passed peacefully with her loving mother, Debbie, at her side.
