Betty Jo Campbell, 92, of Belton SC, went home to meet her Lord and Savior on Sunday, September 24, 2023.
She was the daughter of the late Leonard and Ella Jay Nichols and the wife of the late James “Jim” Campbell. Betty was a member of Dorchester Baptist Church, a beloved mother, great neighbor, and friend to all.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is predeceased by her first husband, Bill; son: Barton Burnette; grandchildren: Nancy Day, Frankie Day and Jeff Burnette; 3 sisters and 1 brother.
She is survived by her daughters: Marsha Clardy (Wayne) of Liberty SC, and Sandra Wooten of Belton, SC, son: Gene Burnette of Nashville TN; grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at Dorchester Baptist Church on Sunday, October 1, 2023, at 3pm.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
