Danny L. Vaughn, 71, of Anderson, SC passed away on Wednesday, November 29, 2023.
Born on September 23, 1952, in Anderson, SC, he was the son of Nellie Vaughn and the late Claude Wilburn Vaughn. He was devoted to his family and friends, taught Sunday school; enjoyed playing guitar, singing, woodworking, blacksmithing, and leatherworking.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife: Karen Latham Vaughn; daughters: Kerry Gosnell and Kristal Cross (David); brother: Dwight Vaughn (Iva); sisters: Dolores Bruce (Eddie) and Donna Donald; grandchildren: Austyn Cross, Nathan Cross, Natalie Gosnell, and Bailey Austin (Troy); great-grandchildren: Matthew Austin and William Austin; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at Asaville Baptist Church on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at 2pm at 201 Asaville Church Rd Anderson, SC 29621 with Pastor Dewayne Evans officiating. A private burial will be held in the church cemetery.
The visitation will be held prior to the service at Asaville Baptist Church on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, from 1pm to 2pm.
The family will be at their respective homes.
