David Johnny Whitten Jr, 50, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Tuesday November 29, 2022.
Born on February 14, 1972, in Anderson, SC, he was the son of Johnny and Margaret Whitten.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his Children: Carson Whitten, Carly Whitten and Jocelyn Whitten; Sister: Christy Cheek (Kevin); Brother: Bradley Whitten; and Nieces: Savannah Cheek and Kylee Whitten.
He was preceded in death by a Baby Brother: Robert Jared Whitten.
A memorial service will be held at 2pm on Monday December 5, 2022, at the Sosebee Mortuary South Chapel and will be officiated by Rev. Sam Duncan.
The family will be at the home.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel is assisting the family with the arrangements.

I picture David and Brent seeing each other again and all the jokes and laughter between them right now. A happy reunion. Both playing air guitars and being silly. But also wishing us comfort from the heartbreak. I hope he sends all of you signs to let you know he’s still with you and always will be.
