Dwain Leander Lyon, 65, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Tuesday November 29, 2022, at the Anmed Health Medical Center.
Born on July 19, 1957, in Anderson, SC, he was the son of the late Jerome and Mary Lyon and husband to Bertha Whitfield Lyon. Dwain enjoyed woodworking, Halloween, and Christmas, as well as spending time with his family.
In addition to his Wife, Bertha, he is survived by his Son: Anthony Brady (Denise); Daughters: Lynn Brady and Sheila Dalton (Ralph); Sisters: Janet Scarborough (David) and Crystal Barnett; Nephews: Wesley Scarborough (Kristen), Bradley Head (Tori) and Michael Scarborough; as well as nine grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and many other beloved relatives.
He is also preceded in death by his Sister: Debra Lyon; and his Grandparents: Roy Frank and Aldie Skelton.
A memorial service will be held at 2pm on Saturday December 10, 2022 at Homeland Park Baptist Church and will be officiated by Rev. James Strickland.
A visitation will be held from 12pm to 1pm prior to the service Saturday at the Homeland Park Baptist Family Life Center.
Flowers are welcome or contributions can be made to the Homeland Park Baptist Church.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel is assisting the family with the arrangements.
