Truly one of a kind, she was. A friend since we met in early 80’s. I never had to worry about where I stood with her, she’d let me know 😆. I sat beside her bed and touched her hand. She looked over at me and began to cry a short cry. We talked a few minutes and I held my tears until after I left. So many memories and so many laughs. The best thing though, she is where I am going one day soon. We’ll love and miss you until we see you again Karen!
