George Danny “DC” Clark, 69 of Anderson died peacefully at home on August 5, 2022, surrounded by friends and family.
Born January 17, 1953, he was the son of the late Calvin and Dorothy Clark.
He is survived by his wife: Angie Floyd Clark; daughters: Julie Clark (Mark Thomas) and Michelle McLaughlin (Gareth) of Simpsonville; grandchildren: Will Harbin, Gavin and Ava McLaughlin; siblings: Dr. Timothy Clark (Kim) of Inman, Betty Routhieaux (Alan), Sandra Clark (Steve Hanover), and Tony Clark (Trina) of Honea Path, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he is predeceased by his son: Nicholas Clark and brother: John Clark.
Danny was a carpenter by trade and an avid outdoorsman. He loved hunting, fishing, searching for arrowheads, and learning about the Indian heritage. He also loved motorcycling, mudding, and fast cars.
A memorial and celebration of life will take place at the SC Outlook by the Hartwell Dam, Hwy 29 South, Star, SC 29684 on Saturday, August 20, from 10am – 11am. Please come as you are as Danny would have wanted.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
