Joan Ann Coker, 80, of Anderson SC, passed away on Friday, November 1, 2019.
Born in Anderson, SC, on June 25, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Georgia Dean, the wife to the late Joe William Coker and a member of Varennes Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her sons: Billy Coker (Sally), Charles Coker (Christy), George Coker (Angie) and Doug Coker; daughters: Betty Ann Todd (Bobby), Kathryn Dutton and Susan Thomas (Mac); sister: Sue Talley; 13 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is predeceased by a brother, Charles Dean.
Funeral services will be held at Varennes Presbyterian Church on Monday, November 4, 2019 at 3pm with Rev. Sanders Reed officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held prior to the service at the church on Monday, November 4, 2019 from 1pm to 3pm.
The family will be at the home of her daughter, Susan Thomas.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
