John Louis Stone, 89, of Williamston, SC, passed away on Sunday August 14, 2022.
Born on July 12, 1933, in Greenville, SC, he was the son of the late Murphy and Bessie Stone and husband to the late Margie Stone.
He is survived by his Son: Roger Dale Stone; Daughter in Law: Katrina Stone; six grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is preceded in death by Children: Elizabeth Thompson, Jimmy Stone, and Carolyn Stone; Brothers: James and William Stone; Sister: Sara Cothren; and one grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Saturday August 20, 2022, at Faith Memorial Tabernacle and will be officiated by Pastor David Peeks and Rev. Jeanette Stone.
The family will receive friends from 1pm to 2pm prior to the service Saturday at the church.
The family will be at the home of his son, Dale.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel is assisting the family with the arrangements.
