Maureen Loftis Whitt, 73, of Anderson SC, passed away on Friday, October 25, 2019 at Rainey Hospice House.
Born in Ware Shoals, SC, on December 18, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Sadie and Ray Loftis, the wife to the late John David Whitt and a member of North Anderson Pentecostal Holiness Church.
She is survived by her daughters: Denise Allen (James) and Mary Dunlap (Keith); grandchildren: Joshua Allen (Morgan), Katie Hunnings (Brad), Hannah Boreck (Tyler), Brittany Rodriguez (Anthony), Preston Clinemyer; great-grandchildren: Weston Boreck, Emily Hunnings, Damian Rodriguez, Wyatt Boreck and one great-grandchild on the way, Luke Hunnings.
In addition to her parents, and husband, she is predeceased by a daughter: Ashton Lacy Whitt; sisters: AnnieNell Hafner and Linda Gunnells and a great-grandchild: Jonathan Banister.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at Sosebee Mortuary South Chapel at 2pm with Rev. Floyd Stansell and Rev. Jordan Evans officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday October 30, 2019 from 1pm to 2pm.
The family will be at the home of her daughter, Mary Dunlap.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
