Kenneth “Slick” Mark Holmes June 20, 1967 - December 29, 2023

Kenneth “Slick” Mark Holmes, 56, of Starr, SC, passed away on December 29, 2023, at his residence.

Born on June 20, 1967, in Anderson, SC, he was the son of Robert G Holmes and the late Judy Dowis Holmes, he was the husband of Carol Crocker Holmes. Mark was bighearted and down to earth in character. Strong willed, “Where there is a will, there is a way”. He had a concern and love for others.

In addition to his father and wife, he is survived by his children: Joseph Holmes, Matthew Holmes (Nicole) and Micah Holmes; brothers: Allen Holmes (Gay), Glenn Holmes, and Steven Holmes; grandchildren: Liam Hagins and Noah Holmes.

In addition to his mother, he is predeceased by his son: Daniel Holmes.

The funeral will be held at Sosebee Mortuary South Chapel on Saturday January 6, 2024, at 2pm officiated by Pastor Kiki Kant.

The family will be at their respective homes.

Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel is assisting the family.
