Martin P. Wells, 67, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Friday, June 24, 2022, at Callie and John Rainey Hospice House.

Born in Anderson, SC on April 2, 1955; he was the son of the late William Thomas and Mary Kay Wells. He was retired from Anderson School District #5 and a former Mason and Shriner.

He is survived by his wife, Phyllis M. Wells; son, Jonathan Wells (Erica); daughters: Kim Wells (Kevin Jones) and Janet Kay (Travis); sister, Kay Hill (Wayne); and grandchildren: Kylee, Savannah, Miley, Kinsely, Ava, and JoJo.

In addition to his parents, he is also predeceased by his brothers: Richard and Wayne Wells.

Services will held on Monday, June 27, 2022 at 12pm officiated by Rev. Mark Pollard at Sosebee Mortuary, South Chapel. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends prior to the service at the Mortuary on Monday from 11am – 12pm.

Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory, South Chapel, is assisting the family.

So sorry for your loss. Praying for you and the family. Martin always made us laugh, when we had our HPS 60-66 breakfast. I have been friends with him for 62 years. He will be missed.
